In the morning I have been enjoying this warming herbal/spice tea. I thought I would share this simple recipe with you. The ingredients are available in most health oriented stores. You will need a tea pot. 
1Tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and sliced 
1Tablespoon fresh turmeric, sliced
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 teaspoon black peppercorns
Boiled water, 2-3 cups depending on how strong you would like your tea.
(I sometimes add other spices such as a pinch of whole cloves, a slice of nutmeg or a few cardamon pods). 
Place spices in your teapot and cover with boiled water. Steep 3-5 minutes, strain and drink. This powerful medicinal tea is anti-inflammatory, has antioxidant properties proven in some studies to help with cardiovascular disease, depression, anxiety attacks, and arthritis.
